Art Exhibition at St. John's Church, Bourne End 7 & 8 June 2014
St John’s Church in Bourne End is putting on a Flower Festival, Art Exhibition & Jazz Concert to raise funds for its upkeep on 7 & 8 June 2014.
Volunteers from the church, the village of Bourne End and beyond have come together to organise another Flower Festival following two resounding successes in 2005 and 2008.
From 11.30 am – 6 pm on Sat 7 and Sun 8 June the church will be open and filled with flowers and music. Arrangements have been sponsored by local businesses, individuals and families. The flowers will be arranged by talented and experienced volunteers. As this is the weekend of Pentecost, the theme throughout the festival will be “Spirit”. During the Festival there will be Cream Teas served, a Plant Stall and a stall selling Homemade Cakes and Preserves.

An Exhibition and Sale of Art by Local Artists
Curated by Julie Wrathall of www.julieannsgallery.co.uk, the exhibition brings together the work of 20 well-known local artists. Pottery, drawings and paintings, photographs and greetings cards will be on show and for sale. Proceeds will go to the church fund.
