The World of Photographic Artist - Mike Ralphs

Local  photographic artist, Mike Ralphs, will be holding an exhibition of his work opening from Thurs 29 Oct - Sun 2 Nov in the gallery at Rebble Pebble, 98 The Parade, Watford.

The exhibition will include Mike’s new black and white collection, his exploration through colour, the natural world and his ‘once loved’ collection. The exhibition is all Mike’s own work, as he takes the photographs, prints, frames and presents his work himself, including his stunning contemporary acrylic panels.

After closing his photographic studio in Ely, Cambridgeshire, Mike moved to Croxley Green in 2012 and opened a stall at Watford Market offering printing and framing and selling his own work. Wanting to concentrate on his own work he closed the stall early this year and has been attending County and Country fairs in Herts, Essex and Northants where his work has sold well.

Mike says “ I am really looking forward to exhibiting my work in my new home town and meeting more local people. Despite there being a lot of technology and software available to photographers now, I like to keep my work true to life, simple and honest. Getting my work out there to be seen and getting feedback is extremely important to me”

The exhibition opens at 4.00 p.m. on 29th October. All exhibits will be available to purchase.
