'Fabulous Art for Christmas' at Trestle Arts Base
From 4 Nov 2014 - 12 Jan 2015 Caroline Lumb, Hillary Taylor, Opal Seabrook and Suman Gujral will be displaying a varied selection of artwork at Trestle in St. Albans. From prints, cards & tags to jewellery & glass tableware all of the work will be available to purchase and take away on the day!
Caroline Lumb is a mixed media artist, working mainly with acrylics, hand dyed papers and textiles to create canvases and framed wall pieces. Also featuring in this exhibition will be her range of jewellery.
Drawing and photography form the core of Hillary Taylor‘s collection of work, which takes inspiration from towns and cities, travel and language. Hillary will be displaying a range of giclee prints, cards and gift tags
Opal Seabrook (Starburst Glass) uses traditional hand cutting, leading and soldering techniques to create stained glass panels and art pieces, taking inspiration from nature and photography. Opal will be displaying a collection of her popular cut glass Christmas trees and snowflakes.
Specialising in solar and traditional etching, Suman Gujral‘s work is inspired by the landscape and recording of experiences, each piece has a story behind it. Suman will be displaying a selection of framed wall pieces, prints and cards.
