Artist & Makers Fair, 5-6 October 2013
Sally Evans' Artists and Makers Fair will showcase 70 talented participants from across the South East. Many established artists and makers including Herts Visual Arts members will be showing and demonstrating their work including painters, ceramicists, textile, glass and silversmiths.
It's a wonderful day out and a great opportunity to source some beautiful handcrafted pieces.
There will also be a host of new participants including Commercial Square Studios' artist Carolyn Cameron who creates landscapes through watercolour and layering using stitching onto paper.
Also showing for the first time at Sally Evans's events is Furniture maker and specialist joiner Jonathan Silva who will be displaying some smaller pieces alongside a gallery of larger items.
Ceramicist Pam Cummings will also be debuting at the event. Pam works with a variety of clays and is often inspired by natural forms whilst sometimes using microscopic images to achieve a new perspective.
The event is open 10am-4pm daily and the entry cost is £3 per adult which supports local charities Helen and Douglas House and Bucks Young Carers. (Please note you do not need to pay National Trust entry charges to visit the Glasshouse).
