Herts Visual Arts Big Art Fair 2019 - Call for Artists

Following last year’s great success, Herts Visual Arts is again holding a Big Art Fair during the bustling annual Hitchin Festival. The exhibition is open to all artists, artisans and designer makers who are paid up 2019/20 members of HVA, on a first come first served basis. Space is limited to a mix of about sixty artists displaying their artwork on either 2m square professional display panels or 6ft tables ranged around the impressive main room at Hitchin Town Hall. It pays to register promptly to secure a place at this popular event.
Artists’ Set Up: Friday 12th July, followed by PREVIEW NIGHT at 7pm.
Artist + 1 guest free admission to Preview Night, others £2 each at door.
There will be Sponsors’ Awards, Complimentary Drinks & Nibbles.

NO COMMISSION ON SALES
Online Registration opens 1 st March and closes 31st March. Successful applicants will be advised by email between 8th and 21st April, with FULL PAYMENT required within 2 weeks, otherwise that place will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.
What is included in my entry fee? - sales handling at the sales desk (credit card payments subject to small credit card handling fee) - bubble wrap/tape and/or bags/carrier bags - use of screens or space as described above - 2 free tickets to the Preview Evening. (For other visitors, admission £2 each at the door). - entry into the ‘Visitors Vote’ over the weekend (certificate as a prize) - inclusion in the Sponsors Choice awards decided by our sponsors at the PV (certificate as prize) - payment for sold work during August, direct to your nominated bank account - entry in Big Art Fair mini-brochure, given to all visitors while stock last - downloadable promotional materials for your personal use - targeted press coverage HVA members
